|
Solid and papillary epithelial neoplasm of the pancreas is a rare tumor of low malignant potential. It tends to occur chiefly in young women. The origin of the tumor is still uncertain, although the studies from immunochemical staining an origin
from
exocrine or endocrine pancreas. The tumor is apparently curable by surgical excision in most cases, so it is very important to make a correct diagnosis before surgery. We present here a case of solid and papillary epithelial neoplasm of the
pancreas
